Ce designer est tout d’abord passé
par un cursus en histoire de l’art complété d’études
en arts appliqués. Depuis, quelques années, il s’intéresse
aux questions de design d’environnement, avec un intérêt
particulier pour les matières végétales, et le jardin
qu’il considère comme un objet à part entière.
On lui doit notamment en 1999 la réalisation d’un jardin
hors sol transportable ou encore en 2001 un projet de jardin-théâtre
pour le parc de la Villa Medicis à Rome.
Néanmoins, ce jeune designer n’exclut pas la production de
mobilier pour l’intérieur de l’habitat. Ainsi, dès
1998, il édite chez Néotu une table basse au plateau courbe
et dessine par la suite des projets aussi divers que des modules de rangement
ou des compositions à partir des verres Harcourt de Baccarat. |

This designer first studied history of art
and then decorative arts. For a few years now, he has taken an interest
in questions relating to design of the environment, especially in vegetable
materials, in gardens, which he regards as objects in their own right.
Part of his credentials are notably in 1999 the creation of an off-the-ground
transportable garden or in 2001 the project of a garden-theatre for the
park of the Medici Villa in Rome. Nevertheless, this young designer did
not rule out producing furniture for home interiors.
Thus, as early as 1998, he created a coffee table with a curved plate
edited by Néotu and later designed various projects such as storage
units or variations on the Harcourt glasses by Baccarat. |
